- Everything but the Bagel Sesame Seasoning Blend (to taste)
- 1 tin Trader Joe's Lightly Smoked Salmon (drained)
- 1 tbsp Kewpie mayonnaise (drizzled on top)
- Sriracha (to taste)
- 0.25 Cucumber (super thinly sliced)
- 0.5 Avocado (sliced)
- Furikake seasoning (generous sprinkle)
Steps
- 1
Microwave the Trader Joe's frozen rice pouch according to package directions until steaming hot.
- 2
Carefully open the rice pouch and transfer the hot rice into a serving bowl.
- 3
Season the rice with a splash of soy sauce and a sprinkle of Everything but the Bagel seasoning; mix well to combine.
- 4
Flake the lightly smoked salmon into the bowl on top of the seasoned rice.
- 5
Drizzle the salmon and rice with Kewpie mayonnaise and Sriracha to your preference.
- 6
Arrange the thinly sliced cucumbers and sliced avocado on the side of the bowl.
- 7
Finish the dish with a generous sprinkle of furikake seasoning over the top.
Notes
If you have dried seaweed sheets (nori) on hand, they make an excellent accompaniment for scooping up the rice and salmon mixture. For extra heat, some users suggest adding Trader Joe's hot and sweet jalapeños or kimchi on the side.
