Weights are estimates. Together, the ingredients weigh about 650 g before cooking, which is about 80 g per serving.
Steps
In a large mixing bowl, mash the 300g of soft tofu until smooth.
Add the 350g of self-rising flour and salt to taste to the mashed tofu.
Mix the ingredients together and knead until a soft, uniform dough forms.
Divide the dough into 8 equal portions.
Roll each portion out thin into a traditional naan shape.
Heat a dry skillet over medium heat. Cook each naan on the dry skillet until bubbles form and both sides are lightly browned.
Remove from the skillet and brush immediately with butter to finish.
Notes
This recipe uses self-rising flour which contains baking powder and salt already; adding extra salt is optional based on preference. Ensure you use soft or silken tofu for the best texture.
