Ingredients
- 100 g flour (all-purpose or similar)
- 200 g water
- salt (to taste (optional))
- olive oil (for greasing the pan)
Steps
- 1
In a mixing bowl, combine 100g of flour and 200g of water. Add a pinch of salt if desired.
- 2
Whisk the mixture thoroughly until you obtain a smooth batter, similar to crêpe batter but slightly thicker.
- 3
Lightly grease a non-stick pan with a little oil.
- 4
Pour a portion of the batter into the cold pan (starting from a cold pan helps achieve the specific texture shown in the video).
- 5
Place the pan over medium heat and cook for a few minutes on each side until golden and slightly puffed.
- 6
Remove from the pan and fill with your choice of sweet or savory ingredients while still warm.
Notes
The author suggests starting with a cold pan to achieve the specific 'puffed' effect seen in the video. These can be used as a healthy alternative to store-bought wraps for lunch or dinner.
