Weights are estimates. Together, the ingredients weigh about 770 g before cooking, which is about 130 g per serving.
Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180 °C) (175°C (350 °F)) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Drizzle individual portions of honey onto the parchment paper, spacing them evenly.
Arrange the apple slices over the honey in a decorative pattern and sprinkle a little cinnamon on top.
Cut the puff pastry into rectangles and place each piece over the mounds of apples, pressing the edges down lightly.
Brush the tops of the pastry with melted butter (or beaten egg) to help them turn golden.
Bake for 15 minutes, until the puff pastry is puffed and nicely golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let rest for one minute. Place a cutting board or plate over the baking sheet and carefully invert them.
Slowly remove the parchment paper to reveal the caramelized apples on top.
Notes
Serve warm, ideally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. You can substitute caramel for the honey or use pears or peaches instead of apples.
