Ingredients
- 1 Cucumber (Diced or cut into half-moons)
- 1 Canned tuna (Drained; approximately one standard can)
- 0.25 Red onion (Finely chopped)
- 0.5 Avocado (Diced)
- 1 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Sriracha
- 0.5 tbsp Soy sauce
- 0.25 Lime juice (The juice of approximately ¼ lime)
- 1 tbsp Scallions (Chopped)
- 1 tsp Sesame seeds
Steps
- 1
Wash and dry the cucumber. Cut it into cubes or half-moons and place it in a large bowl.
- 2
Drain the canned tuna well and add it to the bowl with the cucumber.
- 3
Add the finely chopped red onion and diced avocado.
- 4
Add the mayonnaise, sriracha, soy sauce, and lime juice.
- 5
Gently mix until the ingredients are coated with the dressing, taking care not to mash the avocado too much. Taste and adjust the heat or acidity if desired.
- 6
Finish with the chopped scallions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately to preserve the cucumber's crunch and the avocado's freshness.
Notes
The post does not specify the weight of the tuna can or the size of the cucumber, avocado, or lime; standard amounts were estimated. For a lighter salad, reduced-fat mayonnaise may be used.
