Ingredients

  • 250 g oats (quick-cooking or rolled)
  • 250 g cottage cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ts baking powder
  • 0.5 ts salt

Steps

  1. 1

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees (conventional top and bottom heat).

  2. 2

Add the oats, cottage cheese, eggs, baking powder, and salt to a bowl.

  3. 3

Use an immersion blender to blend the ingredients together into a smooth but still slightly coarse dough. If you prefer more texture, you can stir it together by hand, but an immersion blender provides a more cohesive dough.

  4. 4

Use your hands or a spoon to form 8 evenly sized rolls.

  5. 5

Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  6. 6

Bake in the center of the oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden and have a firm surface.

  7. 7

Let the rolls cool on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

The rolls can easily be frozen and reheated in the oven or toaster. You can also add seeds or kernels for extra flavor and texture.
