Steps
In a large skillet or pot over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and add a splash of olive oil.
Add the minced garlic and 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes (if using) to the pan. Sauté until fragrant.
Pour in 32 ounces of lobster bisque, 4 ounces of julienne-cut sun-dried tomatoes, and 1 cup of heavy cream.
Season the sauce with 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning, and black pepper to taste.
Add 24 ounces of cheese tortellini to the sauce.
Bring the mixture to a simmer, then cover with a lid. Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring every few minutes, until the tortellini is plump and tender.
Add 1 pound of drained, precooked Langostino lobster to the pot. Stir and heat through for 1-2 minutes.
Stir in 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese and top with fresh basil before serving.
Notes
The author notes that while the original viral recipe uses Trader Joe's ingredients, Kroger lobster bisque and Walmart Langostino lobster work just as well. This recipe is designed to be a quick 20-minute meal.
