Ingredients

  • 0.5 lb Cabbage (Thinly sliced)
  • 2 Eggs (Lightly beaten)
  • 0.5 Onion (Thinly sliced)
  • 2 ulas Garlic (Chopped or pounded)
  • 2 tbsp Cooking oil (For stir-frying)
  • Salt (To taste)
  • Ground white pepper (To taste)

Steps

  1. 1

Prepare all the ingredients. Slice the cabbage and onion, then chop or pound the garlic. Lightly beat the eggs in a small bowl.

  2. 2

Heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium heat until shimmering but not smoking.

  3. 3

Add the onion and garlic. Stir-fry for about 1–2 minutes until the onion softens and becomes fragrant, without allowing the garlic to burn.

  4. 4

Add the beaten eggs. Stir gently until the eggs begin to set and form small curds.

  5. 5

Add the sliced cabbage. Toss with the eggs and sautéed ingredients, then cook for about 3–5 minutes until the cabbage softens but retains a slight crunch.

  6. 6

Season with salt and ground white pepper to taste. Stir well and cook for 1 more minute.

  7. 7

Turn off the heat and serve the fried cabbage with egg immediately with hot rice.
