Ingredients

  • 10 oz frozen spinach (thawed and drained)
  • 0.5 cup white onion (finely diced)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 0.5 cup white Cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 0.5 cup Monterey Jack cheese (shredded)
  • 0.5 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 2 tsp garlic (minced)
  • 2 tsp jalapeno pepper (finely minced)
  • 0.5 tsp seasoned salt
  • 0.5 cup sour cream (for serving)
  • 0.5 cup salsa (for serving)
  • 4 oz corn tortilla chips (for serving)

Steps

  1. 1

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 2

In a medium bowl, combine the thawed and drained spinach, diced white onions, cream cheese, shredded white Cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, mozzarella cheese, minced garlic, minced jalapeno pepper, and seasoned salt.

  3. 3

Stir the mixture until all ingredients are well blended and the cheeses are evenly distributed.

  4. 4

Spread the mixture into a 1-quart casserole dish.

  5. 5

Bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until the top is nice and bubbly.

  6. 6

Serve the hot dip with sour cream, salsa, and warmed tortilla chips on the side.

Notes

To ensure the best texture, squeeze the thawed spinach very dry before adding it to the mixture. If you prefer a spicier dip, you can substitute the jalapeño with 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes.
