- 1 lb mild italian sausage (bulk or casings removed)
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp italian seasoning
- 1 tsp parsley (dried)
- 1 tsp oregano (dried)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp crushed red peppers (optional)
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 cup chicken broth
- 16 oz dry gnocchi pasta (shelf-stable or refrigerated)
- 2 cup heavy cream
- 3 oz parmesean cheese (grated; can substitute for romano cheese)
- 2 cup fresh spinach (chopped)

Add olive oil to a pan over medium heat.

Add 1 diced yellow onion and cook until translucent.

Add minced garlic and combine with the onions.

Add 1 lb of mild Italian sausage to the pan.

Once the sausage is cooked through, add the seasonings: salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, parsley, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, crushed red peppers (if using), and tomato paste.

Once the mixture reaches a boil, add the 16 oz of dry gnocchi.
