- 1 bag 15-bean soup mix (dry bean blend; include the seasoning packet)
- 1 smoked turkey leg
- 1 bunch collard greens (cleaned and chopped)
- 4 cup beef broth (or enough to cover ingredients)
- Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning (to taste)
- garlic powder (to taste)
- onion powder (to taste)

Rinse the 15-bean soup mix thoroughly and remove any debris.

Place the dry beans into the crock pot.

Add the smoked turkey leg and the chopped collard greens to the pot.

Pour in the beef broth until the ingredients are well-covered.

Season the mixture with the seasoning packet included in the bean bag, Tony Chachere's, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Cover and cook on low for approximately 10 hours until the beans are tender and the turkey meat is falling off the bone.

Remove the turkey bone and shred any large pieces of meat back into the soup before serving.
