Ingredients
- 12 King’s Hawaiian Original Sweet Rolls (rolls)
- Olive oil (some, for cooking the chicken)
- 1 lb Chicken breast (cut into small cubes)
- 0.5 tsp Salt (shared amount with pepper)
- 0.5 tsp Black pepper (shared amount with salt)
- 1 tsp Paprika (shared amount with onion powder, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning)
- 1 tsp Onion powder (shared amount with paprika, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning)
- 1.5 tsp Garlic powder (1 tsp for chicken and 1/2 tsp for the butter topping)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning (shared amount with paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder)
- 1.5 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese (some goes beneath the chicken and more on top)
- 15 oz Alfredo sauce (jar; some for the sliders and warm sauce for serving)
- 6 pieces Bacon (cooked and crumbled; leftover cooked bacon may be used)
- 2 tbsp Butter (melted)
- 0.5 tsp Dried parsley (shared amount with garlic powder for the butter topping)
Steps
- 1
If you do not have cooked bacon left over, cook bacon as you prefer. The author's suggested method is to bake it on a parchment-lined sheet pan at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes, or until cooked to your liking. Crumble the cooked bacon.
- 2
Cut the chicken breast into small cubes.
- 3
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the cubed chicken and some olive oil.
- 4
Season the chicken with the salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Stir well, then cook until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- 5
Slice the rolls in half horizontally. Arrange the bottom halves for assembling the sliders.
- 6
Add a layer of shredded mozzarella to the bottom halves of the rolls, then top with the cooked chicken.
- 7
Drizzle Alfredo sauce over the chicken, then add more shredded mozzarella. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the cheese and place the roll tops on the sliders.
- 8
Mix the melted butter with the remaining garlic powder and dried parsley.
- 9
Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the sliders.
- 10
Bake the sliders at 350°F (175°C) for 10–15 minutes.
- 11
Warm the remaining Alfredo sauce and serve it on the side with the sliders.
Notes
The source does not specify the amount of olive oil or how much Alfredo sauce and mozzarella to use in each layer; use the listed quantities to taste and reserve some Alfredo sauce for serving.
