Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup Protein oats (Bob's Red Mill protein oats recommended)
  • 1 scoop Vanilla protein powder (approximately 30g)
  • 1 tbsp Chia seeds
  • 0.25 cup Carrots (finely shredded)
  • 0.5 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 Nutmeg (pinch)
  • 0.75 cup Milk of choice (dairy or plant-based)
  • 0.25 cup Greek yogurt (for topping; creates a cream cheese frosting vibe)
  • 1 tbsp Walnuts (chopped, for garnish)

Steps

  1. 1

In a jar or airtight container, combine the protein oats, vanilla protein powder, chia seeds, shredded carrots, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

  2. 2

Pour in the milk of your choice and stir thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined and no protein powder clumps remain.

  3. 3

Seal the container and place it in the refrigerator to soak for at least 4 hours, or ideally overnight, to allow the oats to soften and the mixture to thicken.

  4. 4

Before serving, top the oats with a layer of Greek yogurt to mimic cream cheese frosting.

  5. 5

Garnish with chopped walnuts or additional shredded carrots if desired.

Notes

For the best texture, use a high-quality protein powder you enjoy the taste of. If the oats are too thick in the morning, add a splash of extra milk to loosen them up.
