Ingredients
- 200 g wheat flour
- 55 g neutral oil
- 20 g Parmesan
- 1 egg
- 1 c. à café salt
- 2 c. à soupe water
Steps
- 1
Mix the flour and Parmesan in a mixing bowl.
- 2
Add the egg, neutral oil, and salt, then start mixing.
- 3
Gradually add the water while mixing, just until a smooth, uniform ball of dough forms.
- 4
Let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
- 5
Roll out the dough thinly between two sheets of parchment paper to keep it from sticking.
- 6
Cut out rectangles with a cookie cutter, or cut them with a knife if you don't have one.
- 7
Trim the edges of the crackers with a knife and prick each one with a fork.
- 8
Bake at 180 °C for about 13 minutes, or 13 to 15 minutes, until cooked through.
- 9
Let them cool enough to serve, then offer them as an appetizer.
Notes
The 15-minute resting time is included in the total time. The description states a baking time of 13 to 15 minutes; the video specifies about 13 minutes at 180 °C. Serve once the crackers are baked.
