Ingredients
- 1 Egg
- 1 colher de sopa bem cheia Tapioca
- Salt (To taste; the author says they used salt and smoked paprika.)
- Smoked paprika (To taste; used in the video.)
- Olive oil (A small amount for greasing the skillet.)
Steps
- 1
Crack the egg into a bowl and add the tapioca and seasonings. Mix as if preparing an omelet, until the batter is smooth.
- 2
Heat a nonstick skillet and add a small amount of olive oil to grease it.
- 3
Pour the crepioca batter into the skillet and cook as you would a regular crepioca. When one side is done, flip it and cook the other side.
- 4
Transfer the crepioca to a plate and let it cool.
- 5
Roll up the cooled crepioca and cut it into thin strips, like little worms.
- 6
Arrange the strips on a baking sheet.
- 7
Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C for 10 to 15 minutes, until crispy.
Notes
The description suggests salt, paprika, oregano, and black pepper as preferred seasonings; in the video, the author says they used salt and smoked paprika. The text does not specify the cooking time for the crepioca in the skillet or the yield beyond the ingredients for one unit.
