- Pepper (to taste)
- Paprika (to taste)
- Oil (a little oil for frying)
- 2 EL Tomato paste (briefly sauté)
- 150 ml Beef broth (for deglazing)
- 200 ml Heavy cream (one carton of heavy cream)
- Joe’s Tomaten Buddy (alternatively, Italian herbs or Italian seasoning)
- 700 g Knöpfle/Knöpflespätzle

Add the remaining onion, or the onion reserved for this step, to the skillet.
- 6
Add the tomato paste and briefly sauté it in the cooking fat.
- 7
Deglaze with the beef broth and add the heavy cream.
- 8
Season the sauce with Joe’s Tomaten Buddy; alternatively, use Italian herbs or Italian seasoning.
- 9
Add the Knöpfle to the skillet and simmer everything briefly.
- 10
Return the meatballs to the sauce.
- 11
Sprinkle the skillet with freshly grated Parmesan, mix everything well, toss briefly, and enjoy.
