Ingredients

  • 150 g All-purpose flour
  • 100 g Cream cheese
  • 100 g Butter (softened)
  • 70 g Sugar (white sugar)
  • Salt (a pinch)
  • 50 g Black cherry fruit spread (or cherry jam)
  • 60 g Ground hazelnuts
  • 50 g Brown sugar
  • 0.5 TL Ground cinnamon

Steps

  1. 1

Take the butter out of the refrigerator in advance so that it becomes soft.

  2. 2

Knead the softened butter, cream cheese, flour, a pinch of white sugar, and salt into a smooth dough.

  3. 3

Divide the dough into two portions and roll each out thinly into a circle.

  4. 4

Spread a thin layer of the black cherry fruit spread over the dough circles.

  5. 5

In a small bowl, mix the ground hazelnuts with the brown sugar and cinnamon.

  6. 6

Sprinkle the nut mixture evenly over the fruit spread.

  7. 7

Cut each dough circle like a pizza into 16 narrow triangles.

  8. 8

Roll up the triangles tightly from the wide side toward the center to form small crescents.

  9. 9

Place the crescents on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

The dough is easiest to handle if it is chilled briefly after kneading. The quantities were calculated based on portion sizes for 32 pieces.
