Ingredients
- 1 Orange (Peeled and seeded; use the pulp and juice)
- 1 Lemon (Seeded; use the juice and, if desired, some of the pulp)
- Fresh turmeric (1 piece, approximately 2–3 cm; peeled)
- Fresh ginger (1 piece, approximately 2–3 cm; peeled)
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 0.5 cup Water or pineapple juice (The post indicates “1/2 cup”; choose water or pineapple juice)
Steps
- 1
Peel the orange, lemon, turmeric, and ginger. Remove the seeds from the citrus fruits and cut all the ingredients into small pieces to make blending easier.
- 2
Place the orange, lemon, turmeric, ginger, honey, and 1/2 cup of water or pineapple juice in a blender.
- 3
Blend until the mixture is liquid and as smooth as possible. If it is too thick to pour, add a little more water or pineapple juice.
- 4
Pour the mixture into an ice cube tray, distributing it evenly.
- 5
Freeze for at least 2 hours, or until the cubes are completely solid. Remove them from the tray and store them in an airtight container in the freezer.
Notes
The written recipe does not include instructions; the procedure was inferred from the name of the preparation and its ingredients. The measurement “1/2 cup” is interpreted as 1/2 cup, although the English version contains a probable typo stating “1/2 tsp.” These cubes are not a substitute for medical treatment; the claim of an anti-inflammatory effect has not been clinically verified.
