Ingredients

  • 14 oz Little smokies smoked sausages
  • 1 can Cream of bacon soup (Approximately one standard 10.5-ounce can)
  • 2 tbsp Bacon bits (Use a generous dusting, or add to taste)
  • 1 oz Ranch seasoning mix (About one packet's worth, or enough to resemble the contents of a packet)
  • 2 packages Cheese lovers tortellini (Two packages; estimated at approximately 20 ounces each)
  • 1 can Evaporated milk (Pour over the ingredients; approximately one standard can)
  • 1 block Philadelphia cream cheese (Place the block in the center of the slow cooker)
  • Cracked black pepper (A small dash, or to taste)

Steps

  1. 1

Place the 14 ounces of little smokies in the slow cooker. Add the cream of bacon soup and stir briefly to distribute it around the sausages.

  2. 2

Scatter a generous dusting of bacon bits over the sausage and soup mixture.

  3. 3

Sprinkle in approximately one packet's worth of ranch seasoning mix.

  4. 4

Add the two packages of cheese lovers tortellini to the slow cooker.

  5. 5

Pour the can of evaporated milk evenly over the tortellini and other ingredients.

  6. 6

Stir thoroughly so the ranch seasoning coats the tortellini and the cream of bacon soup is distributed throughout the sausages and pasta.

  7. 7

Place the block of cream cheese in the center of the slow cooker, then add a small dash of cracked black pepper.

  8. 8

Cover the slow cooker and cook on HIGH for about 2 hours, until the tortellini is tender and the mixture is hot and creamy.

  9. 9

Stir again, making sure the softened cream cheese is fully incorporated and coats the tortellini. Continue stirring until the sauce is smooth and evenly distributed.

  10. 10

Scoop into bowls and let the servings cool briefly before eating.

Notes

The transcript does not specify the package sizes for the tortellini or the cans, so standard package and can sizes were estimated. Stir thoroughly after cooking so the cream cheese coats the tortellini. The finished dish will be very hot; allow it to cool briefly before serving.
