Ingredients
- 0.5 cup Cacao powder (Unsweetened)
- 0.5 cup Coconut oil (Melted)
- 0.25 cup Maple syrup (Pure maple syrup)
Steps
- 1
Line a small baking dish, loaf pan, or silicone chocolate mold with parchment paper if needed.
- 2
Melt the coconut oil gently until completely liquid. Do not let it smoke or become very hot.
- 3
Add the unsweetened cacao powder and maple syrup to the melted coconut oil. Whisk until the mixture is smooth, glossy, and free of visible lumps.
- 4
Pour the chocolate mixture into the prepared dish or divide it among silicone molds. Spread or tap the container gently so the surface is even.
- 5
Refrigerate until firm, about 30 minutes, or freeze for approximately 10 to 15 minutes for faster setting.
- 6
Remove the chocolate from the dish or molds and cut or break it into portions. Keep the treats chilled because the coconut oil softens at room temperature.
