- 1.21 lb Cream cheese (plain, softened)
- Fresh chives (finely chopped)
- Fresh chervil (finely chopped)
- Shallots (very finely minced)
- Salt (to taste)
- Black pepper (freshly ground, to taste)

Finely mince the shallots and chop the fresh chives and chervil.
