- 0.5 cup granulated sugar
- 0.5 cup brown sugar
- 1.25 cup water
- 0.5 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1.5 tsp ground cinnamon

Steps
- 1
Brown the salted butter in a saucepan until it is toasted and has a nutty aroma.
- 2
Add the peeled bananas and lightly mash them in the saucepan.
- 3
Add the granulated sugar and brown sugar. Stir until the entire mixture is moist and slightly caramelized.
- 4
Add the water, nutmeg, cinnamon, and maple syrup. Mix well.
- 5
Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes, until thickened.
- 6
Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
- 7
Add vanilla to taste and blend the mixture until smooth.
- 8
Pour the syrup into a storage container. If you prefer it thinner, add more water.

To flavor a Ninja Creami Deluxe tub, the author states that she used approximately 200 g of this syrup instead of the sugar in the vanilla recipe. She then mentions one ice cream cycle and two re-spin cycles, but does not provide the complete vanilla base recipe.
Notes
The published recipe describes the syrup and its use in a Ninja Creami vanilla base, but does not include the quantities or method for the ice cream base. The resulting syrup is very thick; it can be diluted with more water. The author used approximately 200 g for one Deluxe tub.
