Ingredients
- 300 g egg whites (approximately 9-10 large egg whites)
- 5 ml vanilla sweetener (liquid)
- 30 g strawberry protein powder (any flavor works)
Steps
- 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2
Add the egg whites and vanilla sweetener to a large, clean bowl.
- 3
Use an electric mixer to beat the mixture for about 8 minutes until it is very thick, white, and forms stiff peaks.
- 4
Gently fold in the protein powder using a spatula, using folding motions so as not to deflate the air from the egg whites.
- 5
Pour the mixture onto the lined tray, forming a mound or spreading it out gently.
- 6
Bake at 180°C for 15 minutes until puffed and slightly golden brown.
Notes
The final texture is a combination between a soufflé and cloud bread. It is recommended to consume immediately as it may deflate upon cooling. Some users suggest pairing it with Greek yogurt.
