One-Pot Butter Chicken Pasta (Instant Pot)

Ingredients
- 300 g pasta (dry pasta)
- 500 g chicken breast (chicken breast fillet, cut into pieces)
- 150 ml tomato sauce (passata)
- 100 ml cooking cream (cooking cream)
- 400 ml water
- 4.5 garlic (4 to 5 cloves, minced)
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp turmeric (turmeric)
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp sweet paprika powder (sweet paprika powder)
- 1 tsp ground cumin (ground cumin)
- salt (a pinch)
- butter (optional knob of butter for authentic flavor)
- lemon juice (for topping)
- fresh parsley (for topping)

Place the 300g pasta and 500g chopped chicken breast into the Instant Pot or multicooker inner pot.

Add the spice mix: 2 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp cayenne pepper, 1 tsp sweet paprika, 1 tsp ground cumin, and a pinch of salt.

Add 4 to 5 cloves of minced garlic, 150ml tomato sauce (passata), 100ml cooking cream, and 400ml water to the pot.

Stir all ingredients together thoroughly until well combined.

Close the lid of the Instant Pot and ensure the valve is set to the sealing position.

Set the multicooker to Pressure Cook on high for 5 minutes.

Once the cooking time is finished, perform a quick release of the steam.

Open the lid, stir in a knob of butter if desired for extra richness, and serve topped with a squeeze of lemon juice and fresh parsley.
Notes
