Ingredients

  • 1 whole lime (Quartered; blend the lime whole, including the peel, then strain thoroughly.)
  • 0.25 cup sugar
  • 1.5 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup ice (Plus more for serving.)

Steps

  1. 1

Quarter the whole lime. Add the lime quarters to a blender.

  2. 2

Add the sugar, sweetened condensed milk, water, and 1 cup of ice to the blender.

  3. 3

Blend until the lime is broken up into tiny pieces about 1/8 inch in size.

  4. 4

Fill a tall glass with additional ice.

  5. 5

Place a fine-mesh strainer over the ice-filled glass and strain the limeade through it, pressing or stirring as needed so the liquid passes through while the lime solids are removed.

  6. 6

    Serve and enjoy immediately.

Notes

The recipe specifically blends the lime whole and then strains the drink. Serve immediately for the freshest flavor.
