Ingredients
- 3 apples (peeled and sliced into rings)
- 250 g flour
- 1 sachet baking powder (about 11g)
- 30 g sugar
- salt (1 pinch)
- 2 eggs
- 65 g melted butter (amount specified in the comments)
- 30 cl milk
- butter or oil (for pan-frying)
Steps
- 1
Peel the apples and slice them into rings.
- 2
Remove the center of each ring using a small bottle cap to create the donut shape.
- 3
Prepare the pancake batter: in a bowl, add the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
- 4
Make a small well in the center of the dry mixture, add the eggs, and begin whisking.
- 5
Add the melted butter to the mixture.
- 6
Finally, gradually pour in the milk while whisking until the batter is completely smooth.
- 7
Dip the apple rings into the batter to coat them thoroughly.
- 8
Heat a pan with a little fat and cook the apple donuts for 2 to 3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown.
Notes
Although melted butter is mentioned in the recipe steps, its quantity was missing from the initial list; user feedback suggests using 65g. You can use an apple corer if you don't have a small bottle cap.
