Weights are estimates. Together, the ingredients weigh about 1.23 kg before cooking, which is about 310 g per serving.

Steps

  1. Cut the beef into very small pieces.

  2. Season the beef with salt, garlic salt, onion salt, ground black pepper, and paprika. Add Maggi seasoning sauce and the juice of half an orange, mix very well, and set aside.

  3. Season the cleaned shrimp with salt and ground black pepper.

  4. Heat a splash of oil in a skillet. Add the shrimp and cook for about 7 minutes; remove from the heat and set aside.

  5. In the same skillet, add another splash of oil. Add the beef and cook over medium-high heat for 10 to 15 minutes, until cooked through.

  6. Add the shrimp to the beef. Stir and cook everything together for 1 more minute; remove from the heat.

  7. To make the salsa verde, place the avocado, small bunch of cilantro, and jalapeño in a blender. Season with salt, add the juice of 1 lime and a splash of water, and blend very well.

  8. To make the pico de gallo, combine the tomato, onion, and cilantro. Season with salt, add lime juice, and mix very well.

  9. Heat a griddle and add a layer of mozzarella cheese. Place a tortilla on top.

  10. Add tomato on top of the tortilla.

  11. At the bottom, add more mozzarella, then add the beef and shrimp mixture. Add another layer of mozzarella so the other tortilla sticks well; place the second tortilla on top.

  12. Flip them on the griddle and cook until a crisp crust forms.

  13. To serve, add the pico de gallo, salsa verde, and lime inside.

Notes

The source does not specify the amounts of beef, shrimp, tortillas, cheese, vegetables, oil, or seasonings; the estimated amounts for beef and shrimp provide a guide to yield and are not measurements from the author. The audio mentions tomato twice during assembly; it does not say when to fully close the mulita or specify the griddle time or temperature.
