Ingredients

  • 2 lb sirloin center-cut steak (Season with paprika, garlic salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder before cooking; cut into bite-size pieces after air frying if needed.)
  • 2 pouches jasmine rice pouches (Each pouch is 8.8 oz / 250 g; use cooked rice.)
  • 12 oz mixed vegetables (Frozen mixed vegetables.)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup green onions (Sliced.)
  • 0.25 cup oyster sauce
  • 0.25 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp paprika (For seasoning the steak.)
  • 2 tsp garlic salt (For seasoning the steak.)
  • 1 tsp black pepper (For seasoning the steak.)
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder (For seasoning the steak.)
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder (For seasoning the steak.)

Steps

  1. 1

Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C), if your model requires preheating. Season the sirloin steak evenly with the paprika, garlic salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

  2. 2

Place the seasoned steak in the air-fryer basket in a mostly even layer. Air fry for 5 minutes, or until the steak is browned and cooked to your preferred doneness. Use a food thermometer to verify doneness, especially if using thick pieces of steak.

  3. 3

Add the cooked jasmine rice, frozen mixed vegetables, eggs, sliced green onions, oyster sauce, low-sodium soy sauce, and sesame oil to the air-fryer basket or a compatible air-fryer pan. Stir carefully to distribute the ingredients and sauces around the steak.

  4. 4

Return the mixture to the air fryer and cook for 9 minutes, stirring once during cooking if practical, until the vegetables are hot, the eggs are fully set, and the rice is heated through.

  5. 5

Divide the steak fried rice into four meal-prep portions. Serve immediately or cool promptly before refrigerating in airtight containers.
