Air Fryer Feta-Stuffed Sweet Peppers with Honey
Mini sweet peppers are filled with a creamy, garlicky feta mixture, air-fried until tender and lightly browned, then finished with honey and fresh parsley. The salty feta and sweet honey make a simple but flavorful appetizer.

Ingredients
- 4 mini sweet peppers (Halved lengthwise and seeds removed)
- 100 g feta cheese (Crumbled)
- 2 tbsp cream cheese (About 30 g)
- 1 clove garlic (Small clove, minced)
- 0.5 tsp dried oregano
- black pepper (To taste)
- 1 tsp olive oil (For lightly brushing the peppers)
- honey (A little, for drizzling after cooking; estimated at about 1½ tsp)
- fresh parsley (Chopped, for finishing; estimated at about 1 tbsp)
Steps
- 1
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- 2
Cut the mini sweet peppers in half lengthwise. Remove the seeds and inner membranes, keeping the pepper halves intact.
- 3
Add the feta, cream cheese, minced garlic, dried oregano, and black pepper to a bowl. Mix until the cheeses form a fairly creamy filling, with the feta mostly incorporated.
- 4
Spoon the cheese mixture into each pepper half, dividing it evenly and filling the peppers without packing the mixture excessively tightly.
- 5
Lightly brush the stuffed peppers with the olive oil. Arrange them in the air-fryer basket in a single layer, leaving a little space between pieces if possible.
- 6
Air-fry for 8–10 minutes, until the peppers have softened and the cheese filling has begun to develop light color on top. Check near the 8-minute mark because air fryers vary.
- 7
Transfer the hot peppers to a serving plate. Drizzle a little honey over the tops and finish with chopped fresh parsley.
Notes
The author suggests adding chili flakes to the filling next time. These are suitable as an appetizer or potluck dish. Serve warm for the creamiest filling.
