Ingredients
- 1 lb Pizza dough (Store-bought works fine; let it come up to room temperature)
- 1 tbsp Olive oil (For coating the knots before baking)
- 4 tbsp Unsalted butter (Melted)
- 4 clove Garlic (Minced; use 'a bunch' as per video)
- 1 tbsp Fresh parsley (Chopped)
- 0.5 tsp Dried oregano
- 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese (Grated)
Steps
- 1
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
- 2
Allow the pizza dough to come to room temperature for easier handling. Cut the dough into strips and tie each strip into a small knot.
- 3
Coat the dough knots lightly with olive oil and place them on a baking sheet.
- 4
Place the knots in the preheated oven and bake until golden brown (approximately 10-12 minutes).
- 5
While the knots are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- 6
Add the minced garlic to the melted butter. Sauté just until the garlic is fragrant, then immediately remove from the heat to prevent burning.
- 7
Stir in the fresh parsley, oregano, and grated parmesan cheese into the garlic butter mixture.
- 8
Once the knots are out of the oven, toss them generously in the garlic parmesan butter while they are still hot.
Notes
Ensure the garlic doesn't brown too much in the butter or it will become bitter. If using store-bought dough, 1 lb typically makes about 16-20 small bites.
