Ingredients
- 2 Brioche buns (cut into cubes for croutons)
- 1 tbsp Olive oil (for the croutons)
- 0.5 tsp Italian seasoning
- 0.25 tsp Salt (for the croutons)
- 0.125 tsp Black pepper (for the croutons)
- 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Honey
- Salt and pepper (to taste for the dressing)
- 2 cup Romaine lettuce (chopped)
- 2 Crispy chicken (cooked breaded chicken strips)
- 2 Flour tortillas (large for wrapping)
- 1 tbsp Vegetable oil (for browning the wrap)
Steps
- 1
Prepare the croutons: toss the brioche bread cubes with 1 tbsp of olive oil, the Italian seasoning, 0.25 tsp of salt, and 0.125 tsp of black pepper. Toast in a skillet or in the oven until golden brown and crispy.
- 2
In a small bowl, prepare the honey mustard dressing by mixing the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and honey. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 3
In a large bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce with the honey mustard dressing and the prepared croutons. Toss well until everything is evenly coated.
- 4
Place the salad mixture in the center of each flour tortilla and add the crispy chicken strips on top.
- 5
Fold the tortillas tightly to form the wraps.
- 6
Heat a skillet with a little oil over medium heat. Place the wraps in the skillet and sear on both sides until the tortilla is crispy and sealed.
- 7
Cut in half and serve immediately.
Notes
You can use frozen breaded chicken strips or leftover fried chicken to save time. Ensure the chicken is hot before assembling the wrap if you prefer a more uniform temperature.
