Ingredients
- 0.333 cup oats (can also use oat flour; if using whole oats, blend into flour first)
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (author uses Truvani brand)
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 0.5 banana (mashed)
- 3 tbsp milk of choice (start with 3 tbsp and add up to 4 until gooey consistency is reached)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 0.25 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp chocolate chips
Steps
- 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
- 2
If using whole oats, blend them in a high-speed blender until they reach a fine flour consistency.
- 3
In a mixing bowl, mash the half banana thoroughly.
- 4
Add the oat flour, chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, vanilla, and baking powder to the mashed banana.
- 5
Mix the ingredients together while adding the milk one splash at a time. Stir until the mixture is smooth and reaches a gooey consistency; be careful not to make it too runny.
- 6
Fold in the chocolate chips.
- 7
Pour the batter into a small oven-safe baking dish.
- 8
Bake for 20 minutes. For a fudgier, brownie-like consistency, underbake the dish for approximately 12 minutes.
Notes
For a 'brownie batter' consistency, bake for only 12 minutes since the recipe contains no raw eggs. This recipe is excellent for meal prep; double the ingredients and save half for the next day as it tastes great served cold.
