- 1.5 cup self-rising wheat flour (240 ml cup)

Gradually add the self-rising wheat flour, stirring well with a whisk or spatula until fully incorporated into the batter.
- 5
Add 1 tbsp of baking powder and mix gently until the powder is fully integrated into the batter.
- 6
Pour the batter into a previously greased and floured cake pan.
- 7
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for approximately 40 to 45 minutes, or until the cake is golden and passes the toothpick test.
- 8
Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, and carefully unmold.
Notes
The author mentions that while the cake is delicious on its own, a chocolate glaze pairs perfectly with this recipe. The reference cup used is 240 ml.
