Ingredients
Steps
Cut the 8 boneless skinless chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces suitable for skewering.
In a large bowl, combine the chicken pieces with 1/2 lemon's juice, 1 tsp paprika, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp dried parsley, 1/2 tsp lemon and herb seasoning, 1/2 tsp oregano, 1 tbsp avocado oil, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix thoroughly to ensure every piece is coated.
Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto skewers.
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200 °C) (200°C (400 °F)). Place the skewers in the air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes. Flip the skewers and cook for another 8-10 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
While the chicken is air frying, prepare the sauce by whisking together 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1-2 tsp sriracha, 1/2 tsp mustard, 1 minced large garlic clove, 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes, 1 tbsp fresh chopped parsley, 1/4 lemon's juice, and 1 tbsp parmesan cheese in a small bowl.
Once the chicken is done, remove the skewers from the air fryer. While they are still hot, brush the prepared sauce generously over the chicken.
Garnish with additional parmesan cheese and fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 20 minutes before threading the chicken to prevent them from burning in the air fryer.
