Ingredients
- Ice cubes (Enough to fill the glass)
- 0.75 cup Coconut water (Chilled)
- 1 tbsp Blue curaçao syrup (Non-alcoholic syrup for color and flavor)
- 2 tbsp Butterfly pea flower tea (Brewed and chilled)
- 0.25 cup Heavy whipping cream (Cold)
- 1 tsp Powdered sugar (To sweeten the cream)
- 1 Blackberry (For garnish)
Steps
- 1
Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
- 2
Pour the coconut water into the glass until it is about two-thirds full.
- 3
In a small separate container, mix the blue curaçao syrup with the brewed butterfly pea flower tea to create a deep blue liquid.
- 4
Slowly pour the blue mixture over the back of a spoon into the glass to create a distinct blue layer above the coconut water.
- 5
In a chilled bowl, whisk the heavy whipping cream and powdered sugar together until soft peaks form, creating a light, cloud-like texture.
- 6
Gently dollop the whipped cream onto the top of the drink to resemble a snow-capped mountain.
- 7
Finish by placing a single blackberry on top of the cream for contrast.
Notes
To achieve the best layering effect, pour the blue liquid very slowly over the ice or the back of a spoon. If you cannot find butterfly pea tea, the blue curaçao syrup alone will provide the color, though the tea adds a deeper indigo hue.
