Ingredients
- Ice (enough to fill two glasses)
- 8 oz Milk of choice (4 ounces per glass; plus an extra splash for the foam)
- 1 Espresso (pulled as a lungo (diluted shot) to be split between two glasses)
- 3 oz Heavy oat cream (for the cold foam)
- 1 oz Orange syrup
- Cinnamon (a dash or sprinkle)
- Salt (a small pinch)
Steps
- 1
Fill two glasses with ice.
- 2
Pour 4 ounces of your milk of choice into each glass.
- 3
Pull a lungo shot of espresso (a more diluted, longer shot) and split the liquid evenly between the two glasses.
- 4
In a shaker, combine 3 ounces of heavy oat cream, 1 ounce of orange syrup, a splash of milk, a sprinkle of cinnamon, and a small pinch of salt.
- 5
Shake the mixture vigorously for 1 to 2 minutes until it becomes a thick cold foam.
- 6
Slowly pour the orange cold foam over the top of each drink to create a layered effect.
Notes
A lungo is an espresso shot pulled with more water than a standard shot, resulting in a larger volume of coffee that is slightly less intense but perfect for splitting between two lattes.
