Ingredients

  • 8 Tortitrigo flour tortillas (Medium-sized; they will be used to form the triangles.)
  • 250 g Ground beef (Cooked and crumbled; the publication does not specify the type of meat or the amount.)
  • 100 g Cream cheese (Softened for mixing with the meat.)
  • 100 g Manchego cheese (Grated or finely chopped.)
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano (For the filling or for sprinkling; the publication does not specify the amount.)
  • 1 Egg (Beaten, for brushing.)
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds (For sprinkling over the triangles; estimated amount.)

Steps

  1. 1

Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. 2

Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it up with a spoon, until completely cooked and no longer pink. Remove excess fat if necessary and let it cool slightly.

  3. 3

Place the cooked meat in a bowl. Add the cream cheese, Manchego cheese, and oregano, and mix until combined. The filling should hold together but not be liquid.

  4. 4

Place a portion of the filling on one side of each flour tortilla, leaving a free edge so it can be closed.

  5. 5

Fold each tortilla over the filling and close it to form a triangle. Press the edges firmly to seal them; if they do not adhere, moisten them lightly with water.

  6. 6

Arrange the triangles on the baking sheet, leaving a little space between them. Place the sealed edge facing down to help keep them closed.

  7. 7

Brush the surface of each triangle with the beaten egg.

  8. 8

Sprinkle the sesame seeds and a little more oregano over the triangles.

  9. 9

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until the tortillas are golden and crisp and the filling cheese is thoroughly heated.

  10. 10

Let the triangles rest for a few minutes before serving. Serve them with your favorite sauce.

Notes

The publication does not provide quantities, temperature, cooking method, or detailed instructions; those parts were estimated to turn the ingredient list into a reproducible recipe. They can also be prepared in an air fryer until the tortilla is golden and crisp.
