- 2 tbsp ketchup (For the sauce)
- 1.5 tbsp chili sauce (Use 1–2 tbsp and adjust to taste)
- 0.5 tbsp Dijon mustard (For the sauce)
- salt (For the sauce; to taste)
- 1 tsp smoked paprika powder (For the sauce)
- 1 tbsp garlic powder (For the sauce)
- 1 tsp black pepper powder (For the sauce)
Steps
- 1
Season the chicken strips with salt, 1 tablespoon garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon black pepper powder. Mix thoroughly so the seasoning coats the chicken evenly.
- 2
Prepare the dry batter by combining the all-purpose flour, salt, 1 tablespoon garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon black pepper in a bowl.
- 3
Beat the 3 eggs in a separate bowl to make the egg mixture.
- 4
Place the panko breadcrumbs in another bowl for the breadcrumb coating.
- 5
Coat each seasoned chicken strip first in the flour mixture, then in the beaten egg, and finally in the panko breadcrumbs. Ensure each strip is evenly coated at every stage.
- 6
Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.
- 7
Fry the coated chicken strips for about 5–6 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- 8
For the garlic Parmesan butter, heat the butter in a pan until melted.
- 9
Add the finely chopped garlic to the melted butter and sauté for 1 minute, until fragrant.
- 10
Remove the garlic butter from the heat and set it aside.
- 11
Prepare the creamy chili sauce by combining the mayonnaise, ketchup, chili sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper in a bowl. Mix well.
- 12
Toss the fried chicken strips with the prepared garlic butter.
- 13
Top the chicken strips with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and freshly chopped parsley.
- 14
Serve the garlic Parmesan chicken strips with the creamy chili sauce for dipping.
