Ingredients

  • 6 potatoes (Medium potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes)
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp corn flour
  • nonstick cooking spray (For spraying the air-fryer basket)

Steps

  1. 1

Preheat the air fryer at 400°F for about 2–3 minutes. This preheating is intended to help the potatoes become especially crisp.

  2. 2

Meanwhile, place the cubed potatoes in a bowl. Add the avocado oil, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, Cajun seasoning, and corn flour, then toss until the potatoes are thoroughly coated.

  3. 3

Spray the air-fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray.

  4. 4

Add the coated potatoes to the basket and cook at 400°F for about 15 minutes. Stop and shake the basket 2–3 times during cooking to promote even cooking.

  5. 5

Transfer the potatoes to a plate and serve right away.

Notes

The instructions refer to a “breakfast potato seasoning”; this is interpreted as the garlic powder, salt, black pepper, Cajun seasoning, and corn flour listed in the ingredients. The source does not specify the air-fryer capacity or whether the potatoes should be cooked in batches; avoid overcrowding for the best results.
