Ingredients
- 100 г Bread crumbs (The author recommends using only the soft crumb; bread with the crust can also be used if it is subsequently passed through a meat grinder.)
- 100 г Milk
- 700 г Ground chicken
- 1 Egg
- 1 ч.л. Salt
- Black pepper (To taste.)
- 150 г Baked-milk-flavored cheese (The original recipe mentions “Imperiya Syra” cheese. Slice or divide into portions for the filling.)
- 100 г Breadcrumbs
- Sunflower oil (A small amount for frying.)
Steps
- 1
Place the bread crumb in a bowl, pour in the milk, and leave to soak for 5–10 minutes.
- 2
Add the ground chicken, egg, salt, and black pepper to the soaked bread crumb.
- 3
Mix the ground meat thoroughly so that all the ingredients are evenly combined and the mixture becomes uniform.
- 4
Take a portion of the ground meat, place the cheese filling in the center, and wrap it with the meat, completely enclosing the cheese.
- 5
Coat the formed cutlet in breadcrumbs.
- 6
Heat a small amount of sunflower oil in a frying pan. Fry the cutlets over medium heat on both sides until golden brown.
- 7
Transfer the fried cutlets to a baking sheet.
- 8
Bake the cutlets in the oven at 180 °C for 10 minutes.
- 9
Serve the finished cutlets; the original recipe recommends serving them with mashed potatoes.
Notes
The author also notes that the cutlets can be fried in a larger amount of oil without baking, but in the main version they are baked for 10 minutes at 180 °C after frying. The exact amount of oil is not specified.
