Ingredients
- 8 cup water
- 2 Lipton tea bags
- 0.75 cup granulated sugar
- 5 tbsp bottled lemon juice (Source measurement: 1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon.)
- 3 tbsp Torani peach flavoring syrup
Steps
- 1
Bring the water to a rapid boil in a large saucepan.
- 2
Turn off the heat. Add the tea bags, cover the saucepan, and let the tea steep for 1 to 2 hours.
- 3
Pour the sugar into a 2-quart pitcher, then add the brewed tea. The tea will still be warm, allowing the sugar to dissolve easily.
- 4
Add the lemon juice and peach flavoring syrup. Stir the tea, cover the pitcher, and chill.
Notes
Makes 2 quarts. Alternate clone: substitute one 12-ounce can of Kern's peach nectar for the peach flavoring syrup, and use 3 tablespoons lemon juice instead of the listed lemon juice amount.
