- 0.5 cup Unsalted butter (Melted and cooled; plus 2 tablespoons melted for brushing the cooled loaf before coating.)
- 0.5 cup Granulated sugar (For the batter; plus 1/4 cup for the cinnamon-sugar coating.)
- 0.25 cup Light brown sugar

- 2 tbsp Whole milk
- 0.25 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream (Use Greek yogurt or sour cream.)
- 0.75 cup Powdered sugar (For the glaze.)
Steps
- 1
Pour 1 cup apple cider into a small saucepan. Bring it to a gentle simmer over medium heat and cook until reduced to about 1/3 cup plus 1 tablespoon.
- 2
Remove the reduced cider from the heat and let it cool completely. Reserve 1 tablespoon for the glaze and use the remaining 1/3 cup for the loaf batter.
- 3
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease and line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
- 4
In a medium bowl, sift and whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- 5
In a large bowl, whisk the melted, cooled butter with the granulated sugar and brown sugar until smooth and pale.
- 6
Whisk the eggs and vanilla into the butter-and-sugar mixture until completely combined.
- 7
Add the 1/3 cup reduced apple cider, Greek yogurt or sour cream, and milk. Whisk until the mixture is smooth.
- 8
Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Do not overmix.
- 9
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake at 350°F for 50–55 minutes.
- 10
Let the loaf cool completely before coating it.
- 11
Brush the top and sides of the completely cooled loaf with the 2 tablespoons melted butter.
- 12
Combine the coating sugar and cinnamon on a plate.
- 13
Toss the butter-brushed loaf in the cinnamon sugar until all sides are coated.
- 14
Whisk the powdered sugar, reserved 1 tablespoon reduced apple cider, vanilla, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
- 15
Slice the loaf and drizzle the glaze over the slices. Eat and enjoy.
