Ingredients
- 300 g shelled peanuts (without shells)
- 40 ml vegetable oil (add a very small amount initially; add more as needed to achieve the desired consistency)
- 1 tbsp honey (Source: 1 spoonful)
- salt (a pinch)
Steps
- 1
Spread the shelled peanuts on a baking sheet and dry them in an oven at 180°C for 10 minutes. The peanuts should reach the color shown in the source; the author notes that this gives them a better flavor.
- 2
Let the peanuts cool.
- 3
Transfer the cooled peanuts to a blender and blend them with a very small amount of vegetable oil for 5 minutes.
- 4
Check the consistency. If the butter has not yet reached the desired consistency, add a little more vegetable oil and continue blending.
- 5
Add the honey and salt, and blend again until smooth.
- 6
Transfer the finished peanut butter to a jar.
Notes
The source does not specify the exact amount of oil to add initially, separately from the total 40 ml; the amount can be adjusted to achieve the desired consistency. The source does not provide an exact storage period.
