Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated Grands! biscuits (8-count)
- 21 oz apple pie filling (1 can)
- 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 3 tbsp powdered sugar
- 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon (for biscuits)
- 2 tbsp butter (melted)
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar (for cinnamon sugar topping)
- 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon (for cinnamon sugar topping)
- 0.5 cup powdered sugar (for vanilla glaze)
- 1.5 tbsp milk (source specifies 1–2 tbsp; midpoint used)
- 0.25 tsp vanilla extract (for vanilla glaze)
Steps
- 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- 2
Arrange all 8 biscuits in the prepared pan. Gently separate each biscuit horizontally to make a pocket, taking care not to cut all the way through.
- 3
Mix the softened cream cheese, 3 tablespoons powdered sugar, and ½ teaspoon vanilla extract until smooth.
- 4
Spread about 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture inside each biscuit pocket.
- 5
Add 1–2 tablespoons of apple pie filling to each biscuit. Gently close each biscuit and press the edges together.
- 6
Combine the 2 tablespoons granulated sugar and ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon for the cinnamon-sugar topping.
- 7
Brush the biscuit tops with the melted butter, then sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar topping.
- 8
Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden brown and the biscuit centers are fully cooked. If they brown too quickly, cover the pan loosely with foil.
- 9
While the biscuits bake, mix the ½ cup powdered sugar, 1–2 tablespoons milk, and ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract until smooth.
- 10
Drizzle the glaze over the warm biscuits and serve.
Notes
The source lists 1–2 tablespoons of milk for the glaze; use enough to reach a smooth, drizzle-able consistency. Baking time is 25–30 minutes.
