Ingredients

  • 3 Strawberries (cut up, plus one for garnish)
  • 1 oz Amaretto
  • 1 oz Remy Martin VSOP Cognac
  • 1 oz Strawberry Pucker
  • 3 dash Aromatic Bitters
  • 0.5 Lemon (juiced)
  • Ice (for shaker and glass)
  • 1 Lemon slice (for garnish)

Steps

  1. 1

Cut up the strawberries and place them into a serving glass.

  2. 2

Add 1 ounce of amaretto to the glass with the strawberries.

  3. 3

Muddle the strawberries and amaretto together until the fruit is broken down and combined. Set this mixture aside to marinate.

  5. 5

Add 3 dashes of aromatic bitters to the shaker.

  6. 6

Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into the shaker.

  7. 7

Add ice to the shaker and shake well to chill the mixture.

  8. 8

Add fresh ice to the glass containing the marinated strawberry and amaretto mixture.

  9. 9

Pour the contents of the shaker over the ice and marinated strawberries in the glass.

  10. 10

Garnish the glass with a lemon slice on the rim and a strawberry on top.

Notes

The creator emphasizes that while the drink looks colorful and sweet, it 'hits hard' due to the combination of cognac and liqueurs.
