  • 1 tbsp garlic powder (For the chicken)
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder (For the chicken)
  • oil (For frying)
  • 2 cup all-purpose flour (For the dry batter)
  • salt (To taste, for the dry batter)
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder (For the dry batter)
  • 1 tsp black pepper (For the dry batter)
  • 3 eggs (For the egg mixture)
  • 2 cup panko breadcrumbs (For coating)
  • 0.5 cup butter (For the garlic Parmesan butter)
  • 4.5 cloves fresh garlic (Finely chopped; source gives a range of 4–5 cloves)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (Freshly chopped)
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese (Freshly grated)
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise (For the sauce)
  • 2 tbsp ketchup (For the sauce)
  • 1.5 tbsp chili sauce (Source gives 1–2 tbsp; adjust to taste)
  • 0.5 tbsp Dijon mustard (For the sauce)
  • salt (To taste, for the sauce)
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika powder (For the sauce)
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder (For the sauce)
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder (For the sauce)

Steps

  1. 1

Season the chicken strips with salt, 1 tablespoon garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon black pepper powder. Mix thoroughly so the seasoning coats the chicken evenly.

  2. 2

Prepare the dry batter by mixing the all-purpose flour, salt, 1 tablespoon garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon black pepper in a bowl.

  3. 3

Beat the 3 eggs in a separate bowl to make the egg mixture.

  4. 4

Place the panko breadcrumbs in another bowl for the final coating.

  5. 5

Coat each seasoned chicken strip by dipping it first into the flour mixture, then into the beaten eggs, and finally into the panko breadcrumbs. Ensure each strip is evenly coated.

  6. 6

Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.

  7. 7

Fry the coated chicken strips for about 5–6 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

  8. 8

For the garlic Parmesan butter, heat the butter in a pan until melted.

  9. 9

Add the finely chopped garlic to the melted butter and sauté for 1 minute, until fragrant. Remove the garlic butter from the heat and set it aside.

  10. 10

Prepare the creamy chili sauce by combining the mayonnaise, ketchup, chili sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, smoked paprika powder, garlic powder, and black pepper powder in a bowl. Mix well.

  11. 11

Toss the fried chicken strips with the prepared garlic butter.

  12. 12

Top the chicken strips with the freshly grated Parmesan cheese and freshly chopped parsley.

  13. 13

Serve the chicken strips with the creamy chili sauce for dipping.

Notes

The source does not specify the amount of frying oil or the final chicken internal temperature. Use an appropriate amount of oil for deep frying and ensure the chicken is fully cooked before serving.
