Ingredients
- 4 Spring onions (Finely chopped; reserve some for garnish)
- 200 g Noodles (Organic; cook according to package instructions)
- 3 Garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp Crunchy peanut butter (Organic)
- 2 tbsp Roasted chopped peanuts (Organic)
- 0.25 cup Tahini (Runny; organic)
- 2 tbsp Tamari (Organic)
- 2 tbsp Chilli oil
- 1 tbsp Lime juice
- 5 tbsp Hot water
- 2 tbsp Sesame seeds (Use the listed amount in the sauce, plus an extra sprinkle for garnish as directed)
Steps
- 1
Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain them when finished and keep them ready to combine with the sauce.
- 2
In a large bowl, combine the garlic, crunchy peanut butter, chopped roasted peanuts, tahini, tamari, chilli oil, lime juice, hot water, and sesame seeds.
- 3
Whisk the mixture until the sauce is creamy and glossy. The hot water helps the fats from the tahini and peanut butter emulsify.
- 4
Add the cooked noodles and most of the chopped spring onions to the bowl.
- 5
Toss thoroughly until every strand of noodle is coated in the sauce.
- 6
Garnish with the reserved spring onions and an extra sprinkle of sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
Notes
The source does not specify the noodle variety or exact package cooking time. It also does not quantify the additional sesame seeds used for garnish.
