Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (Blue House salmon fillets; skin on if available)
  • 0.5 cup butter (melted)
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • salt (to taste)
  • 1 tbsp garlic (minced)
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 large lemon lemon juice (Use the juice from 1 large lemon; lemon is also used to top the salmon)

Steps

  1. 1

Melt the butter. In a bowl, combine the melted butter, Cajun seasoning, salt to taste, black pepper, lemon juice, and minced garlic to make the marinade.

  2. 2

Coat the salmon fillets thoroughly with the marinade. Set them aside to marinate for 30 minutes.

  3. 3

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  4. 4

Place the marinated salmon fillets in a baking tray with the skin side down.

  5. 5

Bake the salmon for 10–12 minutes.

  6. 6

Flip the salmon fillets and cook for an additional 10 minutes, or until fully cooked.

  7. 7

Top the salmon with lemon and serve warm with sides of your choice.

Notes

The source does not specify the salmon fillet weight or an internal doneness temperature; cooking time may vary with fillet thickness. The listed 10–12 minutes followed by an additional 10 minutes is the source's stated method.
