Ingredients

  • salt (To taste, for the chicken)
  • 1 tsp black pepper (For the chicken)
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder (For the chicken)
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika powder (For the chicken)
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil (Chosen Foods; plus more for frying)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (For the dry batter)
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder (For the dry batter)
  • 1 tsp black pepper (For the dry batter)
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika powder (For the dry batter)
  • salt (To taste, for the dry batter)
  • 2 cups panko breadcrumbs (For the breadcrumb coating)
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley (For the breadcrumbs)
  • 1 egg (For the egg wash)
  • 0.5 cup water (For the egg wash)
  • 2 cups lettuce (Diced)
  • 0.5 cup Caesar dressing (Chosen Foods)
  • 0.333 cup Parmesan cheese (Freshly grated)
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise (Chosen Foods; for the garlic aioli)
  • 1 tsp fresh garlic (Minced)
  • salt (To taste, for the garlic aioli)
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder (For the garlic aioli)
  • 1 tsp black pepper (For the garlic aioli)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (For the garlic aioli)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (Freshly chopped; for the garlic aioli)
  • 15 slider buns (For assembly)
  • 2 tbsp butter (For toasting the buns)

Steps

  1. 1

Season the chicken pieces on both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika powder. Drizzle with the measured avocado oil, mix to coat, and set aside.

  2. 2

Prepare the dry batter by combining the all-purpose flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika powder in a bowl. Mix and set aside.

  3. 3

Prepare the egg wash in a separate bowl by cracking in the egg and adding the water. Whisk until combined.

  4. 4

Prepare the breadcrumb mixture in another bowl by combining the panko breadcrumbs and dried parsley. Mix and set aside.

  5. 5

Coat each piece of chicken in the dry batter, then dip it into the egg wash. Repeat the dry-batter coating followed by the egg wash, then finish by coating the chicken evenly in the breadcrumb mixture.

  6. 6

Heat additional avocado oil in a pan to 360°F (182°C). Fry the chicken in batches for 3–5 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  7. 7

Make the Caesar salad by placing the diced lettuce in a bowl, drizzling over the Caesar dressing, and adding the grated Parmesan cheese. Mix to combine.

  8. 8

Make the garlic aioli by mixing the mayonnaise, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, lemon juice, and freshly chopped parsley in a bowl.

  9. 9

Toast the slider buns with the butter.

  10. 10

Assemble each slider by spreading garlic aioli on the bottom bun, adding a piece of fried chicken, and topping with Caesar salad. Close with the top bun and serve.

Notes

The source specifies frying oil as additional oil beyond the 2 tablespoons used to season the chicken, but does not give an amount. Fry in batches as stated, and use the internal temperature rather than appearance alone to confirm doneness.
