Ingredients
- 160 g fresh turmeric (turmeric root, roughly chopped)
- 300 g organic fresh ginger (roughly chopped)
- 2 limes (scrubbed clean, zested and juiced)
- 500 ml water

Roughly chop the turmeric and ginger.

Scrub the limes clean, zest the green peel from the fruit, and juice them.

Put the turmeric, ginger, and lime juice in the blender with the water and blend as finely as possible.

Pour the mixture in batches through a sieve lined with a clean tea towel.

If necessary, gently press the pulp with a spoon so that all the juice is extracted.

Stir the lime zest into the collected juice.

Pour the juice into a glass bottle; this is easiest using a funnel.
Notes
Storage tip: You can store this drink for one week in the refrigerator. Equipment needed: blender, funnel, and a sterilized bottle with a cap (approx. 1.5 L).
